To whom it may concern:
I've been on "Death Row" in Oklahoma for 10 years now! I refer to it as a "Modern Dungeon" surrounded with concrete and steel, mostly because it's the only underground Death Row in America!
Since my 10 years here, I've witnessed the cruel and unusual methods in which these officials take the lives of others.
It is the look into the eyes of The (Walking Dead).
Seeing a once vibrant person now deal with the reality of being put to death! In a few days which brings about our grief.
It is not for me to express how other "men" feel or how they deal with this situation. But, I've seen in their eyes a sadness and hurt which I find difficult to describe.
The 7 day execution holding cell is two cell doors down from where I'm residing and I have the chance to briefly speak with the (man) to be executed as I head to the shower or strip search for yard time.
You see, the "men" I have come to know over the years, those who have taken the last walk to the high maximum security cell, have all seemed to have lost the need to talk, they've been reduced to a few murmurs!
This brings me to why I am sending this out - I'm locked down 23 hours a day, so all that I'm looking for is someone who will take a little time out of her day and write to someone like me!
You see, just being able to get something through this steel door from an (articulate, intelligent, industrious, loving, considerate, respectful, energetic, aware, conscientious, empathetic and generous) woman is what gives me "strength" to keep my head up and not stress as much, you feel me?
I hope to find a (woman) with whom I can build a "solid" foundation of unconditional friendship with! I hope that you should choose to correspond with me and allow us the opportunity to experience the endless boundaries of the mental and emotional realm? (All I ask for is a chance !!!?)
Well, thank you for the time that it took to browse my appeal for friendship...Also, you cannot send me (stamps) OSP doesn't allow it but not to worry, I have stamps, okay?
